It opened in 2014 as "Bistro un saule" and will be renovated in February 2024. It has been reborn as a restaurant serving creative cuisine that combines Japanese and modern cuisine with a French base.
"I want to spread the appeal of Japanese cuisine not only to the town of Gotanno, but to the world," says owner Ichiyanagi Akira. The "European-style clay pot rice" is cooked in seafood-rich paella broth, and is sure to have you coming back for more with its harmonious mix of Japanese and Western flavors. They are also particular about their steamed dishes, and the "Azumino Steamed Vegetable Platter" features a variety of freshly picked vegetables, with more than 10 types of vegetables lined up in a bamboo steamer at times. Other dishes include shumai and gyoza combined with European fish paste, and are full of ingenuity and playfulness. They also have a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, from wine to Hoppy, sake, and shochu. It's a restaurant where you can look forward to discovering new flavors.
