Overview It is one of 47 sumo stables belonging to Japan Sumo Association as of April 1, 2018. Nakadai master in the 12th generation who retired in December 1992 and trained the younger generation as a stable master, established Nakadai Stable after being independent from Dewanoumi Stable in 1998. He succeeded to the name of Sakaigawa in the 13th generation in January 2003, and the stable name was changed to it.
