ふりがな せんげんじんじゃ
Overview There is a small stone shrine at the top of Fujizuka mound which has been registered as Adachi tangible folk cultural property. Sengen-sha shrine built of stone was situated on the top of a small mound in the rice fields stretched as far as the eye could see from the 1960s to the 1970s. So it was called "Nora Sengen". In the Edo period, there were two Sengen-jinja shrines in Hanamata village (current Hanahata), but they merged into one shrine in 1871. The principal deity is Konohana-Sakuyahime-no-Mikoto. The torii gate built in 1735, has been restored and maintained frequently, on which the four names of the community in the four villages were inscribed. It shows that the village people have believed and preserved it for generations.
