Shirotori Odori ㏌ Kita-Senju

This event has ended

date 2021年11月3日 1:30 PM-5:00pm

The dance also known as "Shirotori Mambo" is popular with young people.

Once upon a time, "Basho Odori" was born in the land of "Shirotori", which prospered as a village of Hakusan worship.
With hanging faceted lanterns in the worship hall of the temple, people used to dance to the rhythm of stamping geta. It was added musical accompaniments, such as drums, shamisen and flutes, and people dance around stalls in the town, thus Shirotori Odori was born.
The dance and song have been handed down as a summer tradition of Okumino Shirotori, which attracts dance lovers including young people.
This year, here is the only event where you can dance stamping geta with live accompaniment and songs!
