Report meeting after returning to Japan (August 30)

A debriefing session was held at the Belmont Park Exhibition Hall on Sunday, August 30th, after the students returned to Japan. The following opinions and impressions were received from the students.

At Kings Park, I appreciated that they explained not only the characteristics of the trees but also incorporated the lifestyles and beliefs of the indigenous people.

During the school visit, I had the experience of being able to blend into the lives of the local people.

Fremantle Prison had some areas that felt heavy and somber, but it was an experience I could never have in Japan: actually staying in a prison. Also, seeing the Christian church inside the prison helped me understand that Australia was once a British colony.

I was able to learn about my host family's lifestyle and culture, such as attending church once a week.

When we played the telephone game, our English had an accent, so the message ended up being conveyed in a completely different language.

Reports from participating students

After returning home, each student wrote a report about what they learned during the tour. Here are some of the reports they submitted.
