Find it! Senju's "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji"

Katsushika Hokusai's "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" with the theme of Mt. Fuji is known as a masterpiece of ukiyo-e, in which there are actually three works on the subject of Senju. There are also memorial monuments near the place of the subjects, so please enjoy walking around the streets of Adachi while imagining the scenery of Ukiyo-e at that time from the current cityscape.

Senju Hanamachi yori Chobo no Fuji

The Shin-Yoshiwara Yukaku, licensed red-light district from the Nikko Kaido on the current Minami-Senju side is drawn.

Bushu Senju

A water gate called Honjuku-Iri along Bokutei-dori and a pack horse with a net basket carrying grass and soil called Datsuki Mokko are drawn.
Location: Near the entrance of Teikyo University of Science Senju Campus (2-2-1 Senju-Sakuragi)

Sumida Gawa Sekiya no Sato

The horses running at full speed along the current Bokutei-dori are drawn.
The location is uncertain, but from the landscape drawn, it is probably near the south side of Hikawa-jinja Shrine in Senju-Nakacho.
