Golden tempura protected by a long-established shop that is loved by all generations

Just looking at golden tempura makes you hungry. These are generously topped on the bowl.
It goes well with the sweet and spicy sauce, and it seems that even elderly people can eat it up.
In addition to the splendid taste and skill of tempura inherited by a long-established shop born in the Taisho era, the 4th generation who trained in Kyoto further created side dishes.
We have arranged a little Japanese food to match the atmosphere of the old downtown area, and prepared casual dishes.
Very popular with regular families who go for generations!

Kisoba Kashiwa-ya

Loved for 120 years, the soba restaurant you want nearby

Adachikugurumetokushu
[Grilled roast pork soba 1,050 yen]
Plenty of homemade roast pork! Originally it was limited to summer, but in response to customer requests, it became a year-round menu. The refreshing three-flavor vinegar-style soup goes well with the grilled roast pork and grated radish.

Senju, which prospered as a post town, used to have many soba restaurants, but now it has decreased to less than 10.
Under such circumstances, Kashiwaya was founded in 1904 and it became the oldest soba restaurant in Adachi.
Soba with a sweet soup that goes down your throat smoothly.
It is nicely slipping down your stomach.
Moreover, the shop has no holidays, no break for business hours, and abundant dishes with hearty volume at a reasonable price.
It seems that they have been doing business up to the present by responding to regular customers requests.
This generous mind is the true value of Kashiwaya!

[Oyster soba 1,000 yen]
A popular autumn / winter menu with plenty of oysters full of umami. From late October or November to April or early May of the following year. You cannot wait for autumn to come!
[Katsu-ni 950 yen]
The set meal is 1,100 yen. The seasoning is based on soba soup.
Big portion and delicious even when it gets cold as the flavor has soaked in the dish.
Other menus include Mori, Seiro from 550 yen, Tenzaru from 1,250 yen, Duck pot 1,250 yen, Miso-nikomi udon 1,150 yen, and a full menu of soba noodles and rice bowls.
The photo is a private room on the 2nd floor. It is also used for banquets.
At any time of the day, the first floor is crowded with people who seem to be regular customers.

Hats off to the commitment and ideas for creative Japanese sweets

Approximately 50 years since its founding, the second-generation owner strives to create new Japanese sweets every day while preserving the traditional Japanese sweets of his predecessor.
Speaking of Japanese sweets, it is Anko or sweetened bean paste. Especially, the flavor and sweetness of red bean paste, which is made over a day and a half, is irresistible.
You cannot miss the creative Japanese sweets too.
For example, Toufu Bijin.
At first glance, it looks like a cake, but the moist and fine dough is still Japanese sweets.
It goes perfectly with the bean paste sandwiched inside.
Be careful not to overeat as it melts in your mouth.

[Warabi-mochi 350 yen]
With a perfect balance of softness and chewiness, bracken starch, kuzu starch, and lotus powder are used to achieve a chewy texture.
You can use the included soybean flour and black honey as you like. Both of them are made from carefully selected ingredients and their producing district for a good match for Warabi-mochi.
20 to 25 kinds of Japanese sweets are always lined up. The owner also has a taste for tea ceremony, and there is a wide variety of main sweets used in the tea ceremony.
